LedgerMagic is a specialised AI assistant: it reads your documents and compares them with your office’s knowledge base and specified rules.
The result is a clear accounting proposal with a justification. Once you have approved it, it is sent back to bexio as a corrected draft with a single click. Documents that have already been booked in bexio are audited by AI also.
Like this, every reviewed booking serves as a learning basis for future reference. LedgerMagic records the relevant details – such as the supplier, account and tax code – and uses them to generate better suggestions in the future .
WHY
The problem
Capturing receipts is routine, but error-prone. Account, tax code, supplier, amount: several details have to be right on every receipt, and often it is only the fiduciary who checks what the client entered.
A wrongly booked receipt can no longer be changed easily. The fiduciary has to reverse it by hand and book it again. That costs time on both sides. Typical errors are duplicate receipts, wrong accounts or amounts of zero.
The later an error is noticed, the more effort the correction takes. It is cheapest at the draft stage, before booking. That is exactly where LedgerMagic comes in.

How it works
- The assistant imports new documents every 15 minutes and records the relevant details.
- He reconciles the document against your office’s records: the chart of accounts, rules and previous, audited entries.
- Based on the facts, it suggests an account and tax code, along with the reasons for these. Automatic checks flag duplicates, incorrect accounts, zero balances and discrepancies.
- The specialist reviews the work and approves it, either individually or as a whole.
The corrected draft is then returned to bexio.
The system then records only the key details (supplier, account, tax code) from verified entries that have already been processed in bexio, and uses these for future suggestions. bexio is the first integrated system.
