Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Protecting your personal data matters to me. This statement explains which data I process when you visit my website or work with me, what I need it for, and what rights you have.

2. Controller

The controller is Peter Nieuwhof, AI Catalyst, Leimbachstrasse 227, 8041 Zürich, Switzerland. Email: info@ai-catalyst.ch. For questions about data protection, you can reach me at this address.

3. Website and contact

Access data: When you visit the website, my web server at Infomaniak records technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, page accessed and browser details. I need it for secure operation and to prevent abuse, and I delete it after two months at the latest.
Contact form: Your enquiry reaches my mailbox at Infomaniak by email. I use your name, company, email, phone, topic and message only to answer your enquiry.
Cookies: I do not use tracking or analytics cookies, and I do not embed external services that send data to third parties.

4. Collaboration and client projects

If I work on a solution for you, I process your data only on your behalf and for the agreed purpose. You remain responsible for this data. We record this in a data processing agreement under Art. 9 FADP. Each client gets a separate environment of their own (server, application, database instance).

If your solution uses AI models, they run via Infomaniak Network SA (infomaniak.com) in Switzerland. According to Infomaniak, requests are neither stored nor used for training.

5. Hosting and disclosure

My website and my solutions run at Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland. A data processing agreement is in place with Infomaniak. Under its contract terms, Infomaniak may use sub-processors.

Beyond that, I disclose data only if it is necessary to perform a contract, required by law, or you have consented. No data is transferred abroad.

6. Retention

  • Access data: two months at most.
  • Enquiries: up to two months after closing, unless we start working together.
  • Client data: until the end of the project, then as agreed in the contract.
  • I keep invoices and contracts for as long as the law requires (usually ten years).

7. Data security

I protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including separate environments per client and operation in Swiss data centres. I comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

8. Your rights

You can request access to your data, as well as its correction, deletion, restriction or release. Write to me at info@ai-catalyst.ch. I usually reply within 30 days.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

9. Changes

I update this statement when needed. The current version applies. Last updated: 1 November 2026. Version 2.
